DOSE presents: NONSLEEP / Mantua / The Banshee

To close out the year, we lose ourselves in the fog via distortions of voice, accordion, harmonium and synth. Join us in plugd for drones into dancing from three of Cork’s finest, bookended by trips to regular haunts O’Sho and the Vic.

NONSLEEP are Patrick Cullen (The Altered Hours) and Eoghan Horgan who make electronic music from improvisation, sampling and synth manipulations in real time.

MANTUA is a music project from Elaine Malone (Hex, Land Crabs). Influenced by environmental decline, symbolism in the forms of Virgin Mary holograms and the decay of nature. Other influences include the work of Jodorowsky, bogs and death.

The Banshee is an alternative folk artist residing in Cork City. Her music draws heavily from folk to explore themes of death, love, suicide and trauma, using elements such as caoining, loop sequences, accordion, guitar, and voice, to create a transfixing soundscape and an emotional experience for the listener.

Tickets are priced at €12. Capacity is very limited - we don’t want any disappointment but when they’re gone they’re gone!
